Wylie State UIL Results

Congratulations to the Wylie Calculator Team for placing 2nd at the UIL State Meet in Austin.  Team Members are Nathan Neill, Kunal Shah, Caleb Perkins, and Sterling Bristow. 

Congratulations to Kirsten McDonough for winning 6th place in Number Sense at the UIL State Meet in Austin.

Destination Imagination Teams Honored by the Abilene City Council

Three Wylie Destination Imagination Teams will represent Abilene  at the Destination Imagination Globals in Knoxville, Tennessee this week.  We wish the Wylie Destination Imagination Teams the best as they compete.  We cannot wait to celebrate their successes at Globals!

The Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association (TEPSA) named Lisa Salmon of Wylie Intermediate in Wylie ISD, District 14 Assistant Principal of the Year.

Transitional First Grade Class

Wylie ISD is pleased to offer a transitional first grade class in 2012-2013. Not all students develop at the same rate, and at the end of kindergarten some children are not quite ready for the challenges of first grade. The Transitional first (T-1) program provides practice opportunities and a successful pace of learning for children who need an additional year of growth and development (Continued...)
